Plan lessons by week — colors show status: blue = in progress, yellow = waiting for your review, green = approved.
Drop a lesson file (HTML, PDF, PowerPoint, photo) onto any hour square: it is saved to the site, kept on that square, and the kid opens it with ▶ Start in their portal. Drop onto a lesson that is already there to attach the file to it. Title and tags work as before (✎).
Every lesson has a ⧉ Copy button that can put it on the other kid's planner (or both) in one go, and ⧉ Copy this week below moves a whole week of lessons to the other kid at once.

What actually happened, in your own words. Each record is saved to the Private Log ledger the moment you upload it: stamped with the server time and sealed with a code that proves it was never changed. Tie it to a planned lesson if there was one, or leave that out for field trips, read-alouds, and anything else.

The calendar file (.ics) opens in Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars: one all-day entry per record with your words, the sources, and the seal. The spreadsheet has every field in columns.

Every export carries the kid's full name, the dates covered and the date it was made. Only grades recorded here count toward averages. Portal lessons (the lesson files) are suggestions: a lesson day that was not completed never counts against a grade, and completed days are listed for the record without changing any average.

🧾 Archive Receipts
What the lesson files recorded: how many tries each question took, how long each answer took, where they rushed, where they got stuck, how long they really spent, their drawings, the mushroom clicks, and any assistance noted. This comes from the lessons themselves, not from screenshots.
Two steps before a day counts. First the kid finishes every requirement in the lesson and presses Check today's work; the day then shows up here as ready for your review. Then you look it over and press ✓ Sign off. Only signed-off days enter the grade report.
Partially complete days. The lesson never blocks the kids from moving on. When a day still has requirements not done, it shows here as partially complete with the exact list. If that work was done another way (on paper, out loud, with you), press ✓ Complete with parent override…: you write why, the day counts as completed and enters the grade report, and the record keeps stating plainly which parts were not done inside the lesson. The kids cannot sign anything: signing needs your archive key.

The kids' records are locked behind a key. It is the same value you set as CUBS_TOKEN in the Netlify site settings. Enter it once on this device and it is remembered.

🔏 Private Log
Your own record of events and observations. Each entry is stamped with the exact time it was saved and sealed with a code that proves it was never changed. The kids can send a note from their portal, but only you can read anything on this page. You can also message a kid's portal from here: the message is sealed into this same log, and the only thing a kid can ever read back is the messages addressed to them.
